who it suits

You run a business or a team with processes that still depend on manual work. You want a simple tool built around the way you actually operate, and the skills to keep improving it yourself.

Bring one process you'd like to fix. If you have several, or they span teams, talk to us about a private session.

the day

what you'll learn

  1. map out one process

    morning

Pick one process in your business that you think could be automated, and lay it out step by step before you touch any code.

    • the people, steps and hand-offs behind the process
    • where the spreadsheets, inboxes and copy-paste live today
    • deciding what the first version of the tool should do
  2. set up your AI tools

    late morning

Get a working AI coding setup on your laptop and understand what each piece does.

    • skills, a coding agent and the models suited to planning and to building
    • one-shot prompting versus planning first
  3. plan and build

    afternoon

Turn the process into features, then have agents build them one at a time.

    • break the tool into features as GitHub issues
    • an implementation plan for every issue, reviewed before any code
    • build and review each feature with your agents
  4. put it to work

    late afternoon

Deploy the tool, bring your data across and decide what to improve next.

    • deploy to Railway or Vercel: your choice
    • move your spreadsheet data into the app
    • a plan for what to improve next

what's included

  • a full day of hands-on, in-person teaching
  • the AI setup we use, configured on your own laptop
  • your internal tool, deployed at a live URL
  • workshop slides and checklists to keep
  • questions answered throughout the day
  • lunch provided for in-person workshops

what to expect

You'll leave with a working first version of a tool your team can start using, and the know-how to keep improving it, not a finished, production-ready system.

The fee covers the teaching and materials listed here. Hosting, AI model subscriptions and any ongoing development or support are separate.

before you book

  • bring a laptop you can install software on
  • bring one process to automate, and a sample of the data it runs on
  • create a free GitHub account beforehand
  • an AI model subscription is optional but encouraged
  • dates and venue are confirmed before you pay

faqs

questions we get asked

No. The day is designed for people who don't code, and just as useful if you do. You need to be comfortable using a computer and installing apps. We'll guide you through everything else.
