100x your coding workflow

In two hours, go from one prompt at a time to a setup that plans, builds and reviews for you. Set up a coding harness and learn to run it on multiple open-source models, so you're never locked to one model or one bill.

who it suits

You already use AI to write code, but it still feels like one prompt at a time. You want a setup that plans, builds and reviews for you, and that isn't locked to one model or one bill.

Bring a project you're already working on. If your team wants the same setup across a codebase, talk to us about a private session.

the session

what you'll learn

  1. the harness, not the prompt

    20 min

See why the setup around the model matters more than the model, and what a harness is made of.

    • skills, a coding agent, memory and hooks: what each piece does
    • one-shot prompting versus planning first
  2. set it up on your laptop

    40 min

Build the harness on your own machine, on a project you already have, so it leaves with you.

    • install and configure a coding agent for your repo
    • write skills for the things you do over and over
    • conventions and checks the agent follows without being told
  3. swap the model

    30 min

Run the same harness on Claude, OpenAI and open-source models, and decide where a cheaper model is good enough.

    • connect other models: hosted, open-source and local
    • which models to use for planning and which for building
    • what it costs, and when cheaper is worth it
  4. run it without watching

    30 min

Hand work to agents in parallel, review what comes back and keep the loop going.

    • break work into GitHub issues with a plan for each
    • run agents in parallel and get notified when one needs you
    • review the output like a pull request, not a chat

what's included

  • two hours of hands-on, in-person teaching
  • the AI coding harness we use, configured on your own laptop
  • a set of skills and checks you can take to any project
  • a model set-up that works with Claude, OpenAI and open-source models
  • workshop slides and checklists to keep
  • questions answered throughout the session

what to expect

You'll leave with a working harness on your own machine and a feel for how much to hand to agents, not a magic button. It gets better the more you use it.

The fee covers the teaching and materials listed here. AI model subscriptions, hosting and any ongoing development or support are separate.

before you book

  • bring a project you're already working on, in a GitHub repo if you have one

faqs

questions we get asked

No, but you'll get the most out of this session if you already build things, with or without AI. You need to be comfortable using a computer and installing apps. We'll guide you through everything else.
